Author Pam Henn is a former Walt Disney Feature Animation artist. Her responsibilities included color styling and helping to create computer special moments for countless Walt Disney animated features. Her feature animation career began with “The Little Mermaid” and includes Roger Rabbit shorts, Mickey Mouse shorts, "Pocahontas," and the "Legend of Mulan." Pam was also the animator’s model for Belle in the “Beauty and the Beast.”
After twenty years with the Walt Disney Company, Pam chose to resign and realize her true passion-White Wolf Studio. The dream began as a small teaching studio, and after three years of tutoring, Pam started production on her first children’s novel, Nick &Slim: The Legend of the Falcon Mine. Pam wrote the story, created the character designs, art-directed the cover, and worked with Ringling School of Art and Design student Simon Cox on the forty black-and-white illustrations.
A sequel to Nick & Slim is currently in production, with a third adventure in development. Apart from children's novels, White Wolf Studio plans to produce other projects, such as children’s picture books and an adult mystery novel.
The staff of White Wolf Studio is comprised of Pam Henn and Simon Cox (who is in his final year at Ringling), and Tom Lange, a freelance artist.
